Terms of Service

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Record Academy. If you are a minor under the law of your country, an account must be created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

• You may hold one account, registered to one device. For security, logging in from a different device is blocked until an administrator resets your device binding.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You agree not to:

• Share your account or log-in credentials with anyone else.
• Attempt to cheat, bypass, or manipulate assessments, module locks, or progress tracking.
• Copy, download, redistribute, resell, or publicly share course videos, materials, or other content except where a download is expressly provided for your personal study.
• Upload or post anything unlawful, harmful, offensive, infringing, or containing malware.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other users’ data, or our systems, or otherwise disrupt the service.

• Course prices are shown in Mongolian Tögrög (₮) and are processed through our payment provider. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Access to a paid course is granted once your payment is confirmed.
• Refunds, where applicable, are issued at our discretion in line with our refund practices; approved refunds revoke access to the related course.
• Discount or coupon codes are subject to their own conditions and may be limited or withdrawn.

Course content — including videos, text, materials, and assessments — is owned by Record Academy or its instructors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own learning while you have valid access. You may not reproduce or distribute it otherwise.

Certificates are issued only when you genuinely complete all required modules and pass all assessments in a course. Certificates are personal to you. We may withhold or revoke a certificate that was obtained through cheating, error, or a violation of these Terms.

You keep ownership of content you submit — such as messages, comments, forum posts, and reviews. By posting it, you grant us the right to display and store it as part of operating the platform. Your content must be lawful and respectful. We may moderate, hide, or remove content, and take action on accounts, to keep the community safe.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the platform in a way that harms other users or the service. When an account is suspended or blocked, active sessions are ended immediately. You may stop using the platform at any time.

The platform and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Course content is for educational purposes and is not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Record Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, provide notice within the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia. Disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable Mongolian law.
